Two yarns this week:
Habu Viscose Sizing Silk, and Silk Mohair Hand-dyed Kasrui, bought at
Woven Arts, East Lansing, Michigan. There are more pix on my Flickr site (just click on the Flickr badge on the side).

My first thought was to knit them together double-stranded into a shawl. Any other suggestions?
I'm really looking forward to seeing how these knit up. I think a shawl sounds like a great idea.
ReplyDeleteThose are beautiful! I think they will look wonderful either double-stranded or alternating in a shawl. Can't wait to see how they work up!
ReplyDeleteOh gawd! I love Habu. Nice colors and lovely photos!

ReplyDeletethose colors, those yarns--
ReplyDeleteFor me I don't think together because they are both so wonderful on their own--Maybe The bodice and sleeves out of one yarn and the rest of the sweater with the other yarn? Whatever you decide to do will be Fabulous...
Oh my goodness - like the rest that is some serious eye candy. I don't have an intelligent suggestion because I'm stunned.
ReplyDeleteHi - thanks for your comments! Re: San Fran knitting stores, I also visited Imagiknit and liked it a lot. They have a huge variety of stuff in a nice big store. I haven't been to any other knitting stores in SF, so I'll be interested to hear what you find! Have a great trip.
