The lighting makes these skeins look like two different colors, but it's from the same dye lot. It's dusty pink - a kind of 1930s shimmy pink. It's almost still too cold to think about what tank top I'll make out of it. Any suggestions?
Not much knitting going on here. Just RPM using Sundara's Bird of Paradise.
I like the yarn. I think. I like RPM too, but not together. I'll probably frog.
That Karabella is gorgeous. I might try that for the Sahara top at Sexy Knitters Club's latest KAL.
ReplyDeleteI understand the sock thing--I've been debating forever about this loud pair OTNs right now. I'm thinking of frogging, too.
Oh, I regret i didn't get that vintage cotton, it is so delicious, do yuo have a project in mind for it?
ReplyDeleteWow, that sock yarn is very pretty! And the cotton yarn looks divine.....
ReplyDeleteWow! You are an amazing knitter!
ReplyDeleteI came across your blog from the Lizard Ridge KAL. I have added you to my blog roll! :o)
The Karabella is really pretty! Interesting to see how the Bird of Paradise is knitting up, different each time I've seen it. Hope you find a good pattern to use. But I do like how the RPM's look though! :)
ReplyDeleteI really like that sock yarn...the colors are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHi Ava!
ReplyDeleteMany hugs from Roxy :)

Yummy Karabella, your pictures certainly make it look as soft as silk as you say.
ReplyDeleteYour picture of the Bird of Paradise in the RPM pattern looks wonderful. Are you sure you don't like it? Your picture makes me want to try the sock pattern.
Don't stay away too long - oh wish I would have had time while I was in DC to look you up - but I knew I needed to spend as much time as possible with my cousins as I don't know how long it will be till I see them again.
BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI, too, think that the pattern in that sock yarn is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteLove how your BoP socks are coming along with the RPM pattern. I will have to try that pattern sometime.
