Pattern: Ballband Dishcloth, Mason-Dixon Knitting, finished April 24, 2006
Yarn: Sugar and Cream
Needles: US8 straights
Cotton takes forever to dry, but I had to have one when I saw them at the Mason-Dixon Knitting booksigning, and I'll make others because they're fun to make.
Looks great! I bought some multi-colored Sugar and Cream for one too.

ReplyDeletehave a great week!
I love those colors!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog - you're knitting is awesome! Yes, to get the proper gauge when crocheting, change your hook size first, and if necessary, change yarn thickness. It sounds like you should try a larger hook to try and make your square match the gauge. If that doesn't work, try a thicker yarn with the hook called for. I usually have to change either the hook or the yarn with every project. With my shrug project, I had to use a hook one size smaller to get the proper gauge. Good luck, Sistah!
